Landsberg lands transfer coup: Daniel Jais is returning home

Shortly after the start of the new season, TSV 1882 Landsberg reported a real transfer jackpot. Centre-forward Daniel Jais has signed a contract for the Bayernliga (Bavarian League) football team for the 2016/17 season. Jais is to take to the field in his new strip for the first time on Saturday for the home game against league leaders Pullach.

The 23-year-old’s return marks the homecoming of one of the biggest talents that the district of Landsberg has produced in recent years. Jais – born in Landsberg in 1993 – passed through all of the TSV 1860 Munich youth teams and played in the Lions Regionalliga (Regional League) team for three years. He was also nominated for the Munich senior squad twice.

In 2014, Jais moved to Wacker Burghausen and most recently he played in attack for TSV Steinbach in the Regionalliga Südwest (Regional League Southwest). Despite his young age, this takes the striker to a total of 125 Regionalliga games (23 goals) already, as well as two U19 internationals.

Those responsible for the football department have been in regular contact with Daniel Jais and his father Roland for a long time. This allowed them to register an early interest when it became clear that the striker would terminate his contract with the team from Steinbach, Hesse, for sporting and personal reasons, and wanted to head home.

Jais, who rejected several offers from other clubs, is being hired as a contract amateur at TSV Landsberg. "We are delighted to bring such a high-profile player to Landsberg, Daniel will certainly provide the required boost to our attack. Without the extensive extra support from our main sponsor 3C, this commitment would not have been possible," says Hanns Haedenkamp, Principle Chairman of TSV Landsberg. 3C Managing Director, Karsten Jerschke, sees the cooperation in the transfer of Daniel Jais as a further step in the direction of a promising partnership between team and sponsor. "We had announced our intention to breathe life into our contract. Now we can put this pledge into action without delay."

The 3C-Carbon Group AG recorded a record-breaking crowd at its traditional participation in the large Landsberg training fair at the Kaufering exhibition centre.

After two years of intensive work and great commitment, four carpentry apprentices from 3C-Carbon Composite Company have once again successfully completed their training and received their journeyman's certificates at the graduation ceremony.

The 3C-Carbon Group mourns the loss of Ludwig Horber, who passed away unexpectedly on 29 October 2023.

Ludwig had been with us since 2015. As a trained electrical engineer, his exceptional reliability, his always thoughtful and pleasant manner and his genuine enthusiasm for the company's success story enabled him to develop into the Head of Facility and Energy Management.

We will miss his professional expertise, his leadership qualities and his interest in innovative solutions just as much as we will miss his personality, his sincere character, his loyalty, his friendliness and his patience.

These not exactly everyday characteristics will ensure that we never forget him. They make Ludwig an irretrievable loss not only for the 3C family, but also for society as a whole.

Our condolences go to his dear wife in their still so young marriage, his parents and the whole family as well as his friends in the fire brigade and all those whom he always stood by with his willingness to help.

In silent mourning, on behalf of all employees of 3C-Carbon Group AG, Landsberg am Lech,

Karsten Jerschke, CEO
